Well, after having traveled most of the roads on the North Island, I decided to come south! It all worked out remarkably. I drove to the airport in Auckland, bought a ticket, flew to Christchurch, had a car waiting and drove to a hotel in downtown without a hitch.

Outside, in the town square, which greatly reminded me of State Street, I saw a great comedic show. While it was a sidewalk show, it was professionally done and supported by donations.

I entered the “great church” of “Christchurch” and wanted to post pictures of the fantastic architecture but no camera can capture what it really is. Built in the mid 1800’s it was remarkably built and it still looks new.

I continue to look forward to the next great thing I am going to see and this country doesn’t disappoint me!!!
